We apologize for the long lapse since our last film, but we're going to make it up to you by dropping two shorts on you right now....BOOM BOOM!!

CENTURION CITY III: ASSIGNMENT ALL HALLOW'S EVE

Just in time for Christmas...a Halloween edition of CENTURION CITY. This time the Centurion has been lured by the West Hollywood police to help patrol their annual Halloween Carnaval with promises that he will meet (and possibly freestyle rap with) Kevin Federline.

IT'S TOUGH TO BE AN INDY FILMMAKER

A super short short which we wrote, shot an edited in an afternoon starring acclaimed VHS filmmaker, Sasha 1nelove. The short actually ended up winning an IFP/Revver contest and screened at the 2006 Gotham Awards. According to our friends at TheDailyReel.com, Sean Penn hated it, but - then again - we all know he's a douche-bag.

Seriously…

I have been so frikin’ bad with the blogging. It’s just that I finally got my hands on a copy of Toni, Tony, Tone’s “The Revival” and can’t stop listening to it. If these guys were any more talented, they could potentially knock C+C Music Factory and Color Me Badd out of my #1 and #2 greatest bands ever slots.

Anyway…the fellas want me to let you know that CENTURION CITY EPISODE II: THE LADIES is currently on the Top Ten at The Daily reel. Vote for it here:

Well...I assume this is what it feels like to be homecoming king or to have been a member of Marky Mark’s Funky Bunch. The guys wanted me to let you know that THE FITNESS BLOG OF VIDEO WITH MR. More good news for the Cinema Mavericks; our short film “CENTURION CITY EPISODE I” will screen at SHORT CRACKS, a mini film festival hosted at the SECOND CITY STUDIO THEATER in Los Angeles. If you’re a local, we’d love for you to come on down and see the Centurion in all his glory on the big screen. We’ll all be there to administer high-fives to anyone who wants one. Plus, they’re be a bunch of other far superior filmmakers there, whose films you may also enjoy. The details:

Hey Maverickfriends!!

Man, what a week! We have hit the #1 spot on The Daily Reel's Top Ten List TWICE with TWO DIFFERENT films in as many weeks!! Raj gets a gold star on his chart for bringing it to our attention. I know all you die-hard fans have already watched it 60 times and bought Centurion merchandise...but if you wouldn't mind going here and voting for Centurion City, we sure would appreciate it!!
