FOILED BY SAUPUT...ROOMIES coming soon
By admin on Sep 13, 2006 | In Blogtastic!
Ok…I admit it…I’m listening to Night Ranger right now.
The wait is over…almost. The new Cinema Mavericks short, ROOMIES, is cut and ready to hit the superweb very soon. The reason it took so long is because our one and only camera was damaged when our intern Raj loaned it to his brother Sauput. Sauput is trying to launch his own videography company, which he foolishly named INTIMATE ADULT FILMS BY SAUPUT KALPUSH. Sauput attests that his intentions with this name were to relay that his services were to be provided for the special moments in your life, i.e., weddings, anniversaries, retirements BUT he didn’t want to be doing kid events, i.e., birthday parties and Bar Mitzvahs, which is why he elucidated that they his services were only for “adults”…HOWEVER…after about the 5th time he showed up at a home in Santa Clarita where “swinging” couples wanted to try something kinky…he realized that it was time for a new title. Unfortunately, that wasn’t before he arrived at the home of a certain very prominent member of the Tae Bo community, who – in frustration that Sauput wouldn’t tape his ‘intimate’ engagement – performed a lateral spin kick, knocking the camera right out of Sauput’s hands and delaying production of ROOMIES.
Well anyway, ROOMIES is ready to be dropped in just a bit, so sit tight and tell your friends. Also, as a little bonus for our dedicated podcast subscribers, you will get the new flick 5 days early…see that, membership has it’s benefits.
Also, if anyone is looking to have their special event taped on a 1989 JVC GF-S1000H VHS camcorder that was recently purchased at the Pomona Swap Meet & Car Show, email Sauput at sauput.kalpush@thesauputkalpushvideoexperience.tv
Thanks y’all,
Mr. H
Where The Hell Have We Been?
By admin on Aug 14, 2006 | In Blogtastic!
Hello Maverickfans and Right Wing Watchdog Groups,
Thanks for making July our biggest month ever by TRIPLING the traffic to CinemaMavericks.com That’s just ridiculous and we thank you for it. Now a lot of you still haven’t subscribed to the podcast, so we are going to provide a little incentive. If you subscribe to the podcast, YOU GET A PONY…THAT’S RIGHT A FRIKIN PONY!!! Raj has been down at the Burbank Equestrian Center sizing up some Shetlands and I’m telling you, do not miss out on this deal.
Now the emails have been pouring in and they all have the same two questions:
QUESTION #1:
“Where the Hell Have You Been?”
In light of the latest attempted terror attacks, Raj and Le Car decided to join the TSA. However, their enlistment was short-lived. Le Car concluded the uniform was uninspired and quit. Raj stuck it out a little longer, but once they asked him to stop bringing his Foam Rubber Okinawan Ryu-Komodo Style Nunchucks…his heart just wasn’t in it. Still determined to make a difference, Raj is now boycotting bottled water and Stetson cologne.
Meanwhile, I went to the deep country of the Champlain Valley in Vermont to shoot a featurette on the Shumway Twins: Two former Medieval Times Knights who now race vintage ATVs and compete in truck pulls using their tricked out 1988 Ford Ranger at County Fairs. We’re in the editing suite on that right now and will –hopefully- have something for you in the near future.
As for Mr. C and Mr. D, they took the time to catch up on their Oprah book club and sent scathing letters of criticisms to the Disney Channel for not giving Raven enough to do in the new Cheetah Girls Movie.
QUESTION #2:
“When are you going to provide us with more innovative, hilarious and delicious new shorts featuring the comedic stylings of the very handsome and not at all heavyset Mr. H?”
First of all…thank you for pointing out that I am not heavyset…..because I’m not.
Secondly, we are starting principal photography on the new short today…so there may be a surprise in your podcast directory this Friday.
Thanks for checking in and look out for the new stuff real soon.
XO 4 Ever
Mr. H
New Short: Sick Day
By admin on Jul 26, 2006 | In Blogtastic!
As promised, the new short SICK DAY is up on the podcast and YouTube.com. Apologies for not having it on the site but Le Car is taking a correspondence course from the University of Phoenix on Web Design and has declared that nothing else will be posted to our site until he can do it himself.
Anyway, check it on YouTube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhjlCop3FXw or the podcast.

Hey!!!
Guess What??
You’re never going to believe this. I have the best freakin news since Hollywood Hogan went back to the original (and unanimously superior) Hulkster. An awesome new movie will be in theaters soon. It’s called STEP UP and it’s about a guy from the wrong side of the tracks and with a history in street (I can say “street” because I’m from the street) hip-hop (I can say “hip-hop” cause I know a couple black guys) dancing meets a wealthy girl trained in classical dance. !!!SPOILER ALERT…SPOILER ALERT!!! The two mismatched dancers end up growing independently as artists and despite strong disapproval from the wealthy girl’s parents…they fall in love. Who saw that coming??? Not me boys and girls…NOT ME. I heard they also might have a big dance competition that everyone in the movie goes to and the dance itself resolves all the conflicts presented in the film…OH BOY!! Strap yourself in, this is going to be a dancy ride.
Anyway, Mr.C just told me to blog all the blog loving blog readers of blogs that the Cinema Maverick’s new short SICK DAY is going to drop (I can say “drop” because I like Huey Lewis and The News) tomorrow. Get your iTunes in order and firkin subscribe everybody. Seriously you guys. Seriously. The link is this: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=164055710
